In future all British Army 155m artillery will be self propelled and use autoloaders so all propellant will need to be modular to facilitate autoloading.

There is currently no modular charge manufacturing in the UK. The Coventry Arsenal is in discussions to licence technology to manufacture modular charge modules to support our goal of producing 400,000 complete 155mm rounds per annum.

We intend to manufacture Bi-modular charges (Low and high zone) at Kineton to JMBOU standards that provide;

• Combustion without residues

• Low muzzle flash

• Long range

• Low barrel wear
